Infrastructure Capacity Manager
We are looking for an Infrastructure Capacity Manager to ensure the smooth running of our computer systems within the limits of requirements, specifications, costs and timelines.
Our ideal candidate will have advanced technical knowledge and keen interest in adapting and implementing industry's best practice processes.
Job Requirement and Qualification:
2+ years Experience with the core AWS monitoring and alerting services for consumption and billing (cloud watch etc.)
Proven experiences and knowledge of AWS billing and capacity dashboard.
Experience with Docker and Kubernetes capacity management and autoscaling.
Demonstrated ability to work with, guide and influence software development teams in optimizing infrastructure and workload on AWS.
Creative thinking skills with an emphasis on defining innovative solutions to reduce AWS consumption cost.
Analytic thinking and passionate in data analysis.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
Financial background is a plus.
AWS certification (architect, development, administrator) is big advantage.
Job Roles and Responsibilities:
Establish a data catalogue.
Assess business critical functions and conduct an impact assessment.
Label information (data labelled into classification buckets) - AWS Glue.
Asset handling according to assigned classification tier.
Continuous monitoring of security, usage and access patterns of systems and data.
Running control on budget variation.
Create dashboards.
Collect inventory data from all managed instances and compile the result into a customer.
Inventory report at scheduled intervals. The report supports customer invoicing and aids in cost controlling (TCO).
