Your Role and Responsibilities This specialty concentrates on the development and design of IT Transformation solutions that support the business requirements of the client. Solution responsibility can include infrastructure strategy and design, systems strategy and design, communications strategy and design, and data center strategy and design. Included in the focus areas are the critical evaluation and selection of the software and hardware components (including partners) of the infrastructure. Best practices in this specialty use reference architectures and service product assets to develop conceptual and detailed designs. Infrastructure Architects are responsible for performance, availability and scalability of the solution and the impact on the client's infrastructure. Required Technical and Professional Expertise Strong experience with On-Prem / Private / Public Cloud Infrastructure services Experience with automation and orchestration of infrastructure operational processes (Ansible, VMware, Red Hat Virtualization, etc.) Knowledge of main hypervisors (VMWare, RHV, Hyper-V) and network virtualization (NSX, SDWAN, etc.) Familiar with main operating systems (Linux, Windows, and AIX) and middleware . Experienced with Containers (Kubernetes, Docker, etc.) Experienced in technology consulting projects such as DC Transformation assessment, Definition of Infrastructure Strategies and Roadmap, and Architecture Design and implementation of Infrastructure and Automated Solutions.
