The ISMS & Data Protection Officer working with the CISO and upper Management, is tasked to implement ISMS security related activities within the organization. The Officer will have the ongoing responsibilities of coordinating multiple components of the ISMS including managing, monitoring and improving the system, following ISO/IEC 27001:2013.
As an ISMS & Data Protection Officer, s/he is also responsible for maintaining compliance to the Republic Act 10173 - Data Privacy Act of 2012 and similar data protection regulations in the markets that SA serves. With the right ISMS & Data Privacy Officer, SA will get to a point where the entire organization will have a culture of information security & data protection compliance.
Skills and Qualifications
● Minimum of three years experience working in data protection compliance or a related.
● Background in Republic Act 10173 - Data Privacy Act of 2012 and European data
protection laws and practices including an understanding of the GDPR
● Experience in IT & security department
● Strong project management skills
● Ability to work well under pressure and manage sensitive and confidential information
● Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with strong attention to detail
● Great interpersonal skills and ability to work well both independently and as part of a
team
