Information Security & Compliance Officer
The Information Security & Compliance Officer will help the organization with its compliance initiatives including but not limited to the implementation and management of the Information Security Management System (ISO27001), PCI DSS, GDPR, HIPAA, Data Privacy Act of the Philippines, and other relevant information security & data privacy standards.
REPORTS TO: SENIOR MANAGER, CORPORATE COMPLIANCE
JOB DESCRIPTION:
Supports the management of all security issues and concerns, including the formulation and implementation of control mechanisms and mitigation plans.
Liaises and communicates with the different teams and departments across the organization in implementing the Information Security Program.
Manages information security training and awareness programs of the organization with the objective to expand employees' knowledge on the risks and threats to information and how they can appropriately respond.
Performs periodic audit of the organization's information security posture and provide cost-effective mitigation plans to the Management.
Establishes and communicates security policies, plans, and strategies with SMART objectives for continuous monitoring and improvement.
Conducts periodic risk assessments to identify potential information security issues and provides solutions before the risk materializes.
Collaborates with members of the organization to work on resolving issues that affect the successful operation of the information security program.
SKILLS AND QUALIFICATIONS:
Knowledge and understanding of various Information Security Standards, e.g., ISO27001, PCI DSS, SOC 2, HIPAA.
Knowledge of Risk Assessment Processes, Process Mapping Activities, Contingency Planning & Incident Response.
Knowledge with different information security technologies.
