INFORMATION AND COMMUNICATION TECHNOLOGY STAFF
Description
Ensures that AFSI employees are provided with a conducive ICT-enabled work environment using the necessary computing tools and resources to maximize their productivity and achieve their work performance goals. Establish a responsive and effective ICT support mechanism by providing first line liaising with or on behalf of the ICT Head, maintaining computer systems and networks, providing technical support, installs and configures hardware and software, and solves technical problems—all to ensure the company runs efficiently with its ICT.
Functional Duties and Responsibilities
Maintains and troubleshoots all network and computer related issues.
Installs and configures necessary software and hardware to standard desktop endpoint computers like desktop systems, laptops, tablets, mobile phones etc.
Under strict guidance and delegation of the ICT Head, performs basic server administration such as Active Directory Account Administration, etc.
Regularly updates ICT fixed asset inventory for audit purposes for all branches. Based on the fixed asset inventory, advise and recommend write-off to dispose obsolete computers in accordance with ICT policy.
Assists AFSI employees in general usage of communication, network and computing devices.
Provide technical support across the company and respond in a timely manner to service issues and requests.
Submit Task Accomplishment Report to Head of ICT at end of every week.
Perform any other duties as directed by the ICT Head, COO or CEO.
Basic Qualifications
Has initiative, with good communication skills as well as problem solving skills.
With knowledge and competency in core hardware and operating system technologies including installation, configuration, diagnosing, preventive maintenance and basic networking.
A ‘can do’ attitude and be a ‘hands-on’ proactive team player.
Ability to perform all tasks with attention to detail.
Ability to prioritize work schedules by being self-directed and motivated.
Aptitude to learn new software packages, applications and services.
Exemplary interpersonal skills.
Knowledgeable of Microsoft 365 tools
Preferred Qualifications
Graduate of BS Information Technology, BS Computer Science, or any computer related course
Preferably with knowledge in any Network Systems and skills in hardware/software network support.
Knowledgeable of technical tools like Adobe Creative Suite particularly Photoshop, Lightroom, In Design, After Effects and Premiere. Also, Canva, HubSpot, Trello, etc.
