Job Scope: As an Industrial Engineer, you will be responsible for analyzing, designing, and optimizing production processes to ensure efficiency, quality, and cost-effectiveness in our export-focused furniture manufacturing operations. You will play a critical role in aligning manufacturing systems with U.S. market standards and ensuring smooth, timely deliveries.
 
Job Description:
Process Optimization: Analyze current production workflows and implement lean manufacturing principles to improve efficiency and reduce waste.
Production Planning & Layout: Design or revise plant layouts and workstations to optimize space utilization, material flow, and manpower allocation.
Time & Motion Study: Conduct studies to determine standard production times and identify opportunities for improvement.
Quality & Compliance: Ensure manufacturing processes meet international quality standards, particularly U.S. export requirements and customer specifications.
Data Analysis & Reporting: Use data to track key performance indicators (KPIs), identify trends, and support decision-making for continuous improvement.
Cost Reduction: Evaluate production costs and suggest cost-saving initiatives without compromising quality or timelines.
Cross-Functional Collaboration: Work closely with design, production, quality assurance, and logistics teams to ensure seamless execution of export orders.
Qualifications:
Bachelor's Degree in Industrial Engineering or related field.
At least 2 years of experience in a manufacturing environment, preferably in furniture or export-oriented production.
Strong knowledge of lean manufacturing, time and motion studies, and process improvement methodologies.
Familiarity with AutoCAD, MS Excel, and other documentation soft wares.
Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills with a strong attention to detail.
Solid understanding of U.S. product quality standards, export compliance, and packaging requirements is a strong advantage.
Ability to communicate effectively in English, both written and verbal, and present ideas clearly to foreign stakeholders.
Comfortable working under the leadership of an American company president with high expectations for performance, precision, and professionalism.
Demonstrated ability to work collaboratively across departments and adapt to a fast-paced, results-driven culture.
