WHAT IS AN INDUSTRIAL DESIGNER Our awesome client, a leading Commercial Playground Equipment based in Australia is looking for an Industrial Designer to be part of their Team. WHAT WILL BE YOUR MAIN RESPONSIBILITIES The candidate is required to use CADmodelling tools (Autodesk Inventor) to draft up floorplans for our designers to then place new playground designs. The candidate needs to be experienced in doing floor plans in CADmodelling tools(Autodesk Inventor). Taking an existing designed playground structure and adjusting colours, aesthetics etc in order to meet a new customer brief. Over time, they will be trained in using existing parts and assemblies that are preloaded in Autodesk Inventor to assemble into a playground that is ready for production. They will need to be experienced in using pre-existing assembly of modular parts to create a structure. Using illustrator to create new graphic panels and importing that across to ourCAD software. (Illistrator experience is a secondary requirement). Candidate should be able to take a sketch and turn it into a CAD3D model to be loaded into a CNC machine (i.e. for children's activity panels). Candidate should have experience in this. Experience in high quality rendering and using inDesign to compile presentations for our customers in pre-existing templates. Taking an existing 3D model and remodelling it into an Autodesk Inventor native format as well as detailed parts drawings. High attention to detail as they will need to check the CADmodel to make sure that all the components are included in the model Export. WHAT ARE WE LOOKING FOR Minimum of 3-5 years professional experience in Architecture Industry experience in retail, commercial, tradeshow, hospitality, or experiential design preferred but not required Portfolio demonstrating creativity and skills relative to experience High attention to detail, strong organization, and time management skills Demonstrated efficiency, flexibility, and ability to work within both a dynamic team environment and independently Ability to work under pressure with a solid sense for setting priorities Positive and professional attitude with a strong work ethic Strong verbal and written communication skills Willing to work at a Dayshift Schedule Willing to work onsite in Ortigas, Pasig
