Job Summary:
The Inbound Logistics Coordinator, who reports directly to the Inbound Logistics Supervisor, will be part of the team that will handle the timely and cost-effective departure, arrival, processing, clearance, and delivery of orders to the designated warehouses.
This includes capturing shipment data and maintaining documentation and files required to perform customs clearance and inventory receipt. You will also be responsible for generating weekly and monthly reports and presentations measuring performance and complying with the concerned regulatory bodies such as BIR, BOC, and NMIS involving domestic and imported purchases of the company.
Duties and Responsibilities: * Perform routine clerical duties such as maintaining reports, letters, and emails related to shipping, deliveries, and receiving goods.
Prepare import clearances and interisland clearances.
Ensure vessel schedule targets are being met and proactively report non-conformances.
Keep all files and information confidential and provide other concerned parties data on a as needed basis.
Safekeeps and maintains digital copies of the shipping documents, commercial invoices, packing lists, bill of lading, health certificate, insurance certificates, and other records.
Prepare transmittal report for original documents to be picked up by brokers.
Assist in customs clearance by ensuring timely arrival and availability of original shipping documents.
Ensure on-time arrival of shipments at the port and at the cold storage.
Track, update, and monitor movement of goods (ATA, vessel berthing date, container discharge date, container delivery date, and container unloading date) daily.
Record and update shipping details such as shipping line or forwarder, vessel name, container number, bill of lading number, loading date, ETD, ETA, and any changes to the above.
Check and coordinate if inventory received is as promised.
Directs investigations to verify and resolve logistics issues.
Perform other tasks as assigned from time to time.
Job Specifications: * College Graduate of any course
At least 1-year work experience in FMCG industry, supply chain, logistics, or customs brokerage companies.
Must be knowledgeable in dealing with Bureau of Customs and other government agencies.
Must be people-oriented and an effective communicator at all levels in the organization.
Strong ethics and a high level of personal and professional integrity.
Must be knowledgeable in using Microsoft Office Apps (e.g Excel, Outlook, PowerBI, PowerPoint etc.)
