Job Description
This is an individual contributor role responsible for solving moderate to complex problems and taking a broad perspective to identify solutions for new Visa digital initiatives. This role serves as a technical/functional specialist in the digital space which requires strong execution and analytical skills and works independently with guidance only in the most complex situations.
Responsibilities
Provide implementation project management support to Visa client institutions and processors to ensure customer expectations are exceeded.
Coordinate with internal partners to understand program set up requirements and manage new configurations and maintenance requests while meeting client expectations.
Manage routine and non-routine, moderately complex processing and change requests, as well as support client initiatives.
Assess operational opportunities to increase service quality or efficiency.
Prepare and maintain detailed project plans, status reports, and issues logs.
Build and enhance positive working relationships with Visa client institutions, processors and internal partners.
Represent client system and operational requirements to internal Visa organizations. Serve as resource with stakeholders.
Responsible for own workflow assignments and must be able to take the initiative to resolve problems and meet deadlines.
Coordinate with internal Visa resources to ensure delivery on commitments.
Report client project accomplishments and deliverables to management regularly.
Create and update internal support documents to assist internal and external partners.
Proactively identify operational opportunities to increase service quality or efficiency.
Work with Manager on team development projects - as assigned.
This is a hybrid position. Hybrid employees can alternate time between both remote and office. Employees in hybrid roles are expected to work from the office three days a week.
Qualifications
Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology or equivalent work experience in a business analyst role in financial, software or information services
Minimum of 5 years of experience in project management or customer support in software, financial or information services.
Experience using standard MS Office tools (e.g. MS Project, Excel, PowerPoint, Word, Visio, etc.).
Familiarity with Microsoft Dynamics is a plus.
Strong project management skills required.
PMP or other Project Management Certification is a plus.
Excellent time management, organization, and planning skills are essential.
Ability to comprehend and translate technical issues and apply to business solutions.
Able to set priorities, influence others, and handle client expectations.
Demonstrated success in customer relationship management.
Self-starter with a demonstrated ability to work collaboratively to achieve results as part of an effective team.
Ability to effectively prioritize and multi-task under deadlines.
Excellent verbal, written, presentation and interpersonal skills are required.
Ability to change work schedule depending on business needs.
