Position Overview
We are seeking a highly motivated and skilled IELTS/TOEIC Trainer to join our academic team. The successful candidate will be responsible for delivering engaging and effective lessons designed to help students achieve their target scores in IELTS and TOEIC. The trainer will also provide individualized support, assess student progress, and develop strategies to enhance learning outcomes.
Key Responsibilities
Design and deliver interactive lessons focused on IELTS and TOEIC test preparation (Listening, Reading, Writing, and Speaking).
Assess student levels, track progress, and provide regular feedback.
Develop teaching materials, practice tests, and resources tailored to student needs.
Conduct mock tests and analyze results to identify strengths and areas for improvement.
Provide coaching on test-taking strategies, time management, and academic skills.
Maintain a positive and motivating classroom environment.
Collaborate with the academic team to improve curriculum and teaching methodologies.
Stay updated on the latest IELTS and TOEIC test formats, scoring criteria, and trends.
Qualifications
Educational Background
Bachelor's degree in English, Education, Linguistics, or a related field (Master's degree preferred).
TESOL, TEFL, CELTA, or equivalent certification
Experience
At least 3 years of teaching experience, preferably in IELTS/TOEIC preparation.
Proven track record of helping students achieve high scores in standardized English proficiency tests.
Skills & Competencies
Excellent command of English in all four skills (Listening, Reading, Writing, Speaking).
Strong knowledge of IELTS and TOEIC exam formats, scoring systems, and assessment standards.
Ability to design lesson plans that are interactive, student-centered, and results-oriented.
Strong communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills.
Patience, adaptability, and cultural sensitivity when working with diverse learners.
Proficiency in using technology and online teaching platforms is a plus.
