IT Supervisor
Responsible for the day-to-day IT requirements of the company such as user management, troubleshooting, advice, and general assistance. Managing in-house web systems, desktops applications, local area networks, IT security and telecommunications. Also maintains an inventory of all hardware products and software licenses, and reviews maintenance agreements.
 
Duties and Responsibilities:
Supervising a team of software developers (with programming experience and project software management)
Monitor and Administer infrastructure (e.g, PBX Server, NAS, Switches, Routers, Patch Panel,Ports,Cables, Server Racks, CCTV, IP Phones, Network Printers, and Servers).
Administers and maintains the organization's email system(s).
Management and maintenance of the office WIFI infrastructure.
Strengthening the IT infrastructure through implementing new technologies.
Responsible for hardware and software installation, maintenance, and repair.
Developing & maintaining the company in-house IT systems, software, and databases.
Recommending and implementing improvements and efficiencies.
Manage and evolve the hardware procurement process to ensure were constantly outfitting out staff with the tools they need to be effective at work.
Evaluate, test, advise, train and support I.T. related projects.
Management of server software and associated backup routines.
Responsible for the recruitment and training of new staff.
 
Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree in information technology, Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related field, or equivalent experience
5 years of experience working in IT operations
Has excellent interpersonal and communication skills, integrity, decision-making and problem-solving skills
Excellent working knowledge of computer systems, security, network and systems administration, databases and data storage systems, and phone systems
Excellent project management skills and strong ability to prioritize.
Firm grasp on IT infrastructure and operations best practices
Experience with databases, patch management, and networks including LAN and WAN.
Background with Operating Systems (Windows, Linux) is a plus.
Knowledgeable in PBX (Asterisk, Sip trunking, VOIP)
Knowledge of Windows Infrastructure services like Active Domain, RDS/Fileserver/etc, DNS, DHCP,Group Policy - atleast 2 years of experience.
Experience with PHP, Angular JS, Jquery, HTML5/CSS, Rest API, GIT
Experience with MySQL database
Basic Knowledge Managing a WHM/CPanel.
Basic Knowledge with Cloud Services
Basic Knowledge with databases (Mysql,SQL)
