We have a great opportunity for a Hydraulic Engineer with proven building services experience to join our Building Engineering team.
This position offers great variety of projects, and will see you involved in
Hydraulic design for Buildings, including:
Interpretation of pressure tests
Fire hydrant coverage and compliance
Roof water disposal system
Water supply and reticulation (hot / cold)
Waste-water disposal
Gas supply and reticulation
Wet fire
Preparing engineering design for all phases of the design, from concept design through to 100% detailed design.
Hydraulic Engineering Design and preparation of design sketches in Bluebeam software
Participating in design teams, contributing to design reports and preparation of specifications
Exposure to Fire Protection Services highly regarded
Key requirements
Bachelor's Degree in Mechanical or Sanitary Engineering
5 years' experience in Buildings Hydraulic Design
Working knowledge of Revit MEP, Navisworks, and Bluebeam
Experience in sectors including Education, multi-storey residential, commercial and multi-storey carparks
Familiarity with Australian Standard AS 3500
Proven ability to devise approaches to problem resolution
Ability to be proactive and take ownership of the task involved
Ability to work on multiple projects independently
Passionate about buildings
Strong communication skills
Good client focus
