We're looking for HV Electrical Engineerto join our Energy Business Group
Working with an energetic and high performing team, this position offers a variety of work and will see you involved in:
Extensive experience in engineering and design of electrical networks and substations at 132 kV and above. This includes both overhead and underground networks, including customer connections.
Strong knowledge of substation high voltage plant and equipment
Strong knowledge of AIS/GIS Substation busbar configuration and layouts
Knowledge of relevant Australian and International standards, industry guidelines and current industry practices
Experience and knowledge in the areas of substation secondary design or earthing system design would be advantageous.
What you will bring to the team:
Bachelor's degree in electrical engineering
At least 5 years related experience working with Power Utilities
Extensive experience indesigning High Voltage Substation
Thorough understanding of switchyard layouts and busbar configurations, and selection / application.
Experience in designing outdoor rigid and strung busbar including BoM preparation
Experience in designing layout of transformer bunds (to inform structural design)
Experience in designing layout of switchyard conduits and trenches (to inform civil design)
Experience in main equipment selection and preparation of technical specifications
Understanding of primary design interfaces e.g. secondary, structural, civil, geotechnical, hydrology, etc.
Construction experience would be advantageous.
Strong ability in authoring design reports, scope of work and related technical documentation.
This job offer can be based either inMakati, Quezon Cityor in our office inCebu, depending on your home base / location.
