Learning and Organizational Development Officer (Nationals Only)
The Role
The Learning and Organizational Development Officer is responsible for the coordination and administration of a range of learning and development activities and projects, in close coordination with and under the direction of the Director of HR. S/He will ensure the development and maintenance of robust learning and development systems and processes, to include the performance management system. Incumbent shall support the Director of HR in ensuring the development and maintenance of robust learning systems and processes.
Incumbent shall support SMT initiatives in continuously making organizational improvements by evaluating and identifying opportunities to increase efficiency and effectiveness, providing overall support in solving organizational challenges.
Incumbent shall be the first point of contact for learning and development as well as performance management queries and shall be responsible for all related administration.
Qualifications and Experience
At least 3 years' experience in working in the areas of learning and development with exposure in organizational development and change management.
Preferably with a degree in Social Sciences, Management or Psychology.
Skilled and experienced in project management and the project cycle, planned change and data analysis.
Has excellent communication skills, an influencer, who strives to help others develop and grow.
Has strong interpersonal skills to gain the trust of employees intended to benefit from their experience.
Strong analytical skills. Can read and interpret various forms of data, from survey results to training program assessments, to create the best strategies possible.
A team player who is willing to work long hours towards the attainment of organizational objectives and deliverables;
Must have a high sense of urgency and well-developed work ethic; and
Has a basic understanding of Save the Children's core principles, vision and mission and a commitment to its objectives; willing to adopt Save the Children's theory of change in program implementation; abide by and implement Save the Children's Code of Conduct and Safeguarding Framework.
The job holder should develop a strong understanding of Save the Children's vision and mission and should be committed to its principles and objectives. He/she should be willing to adopt the Save the Children methodology and framework in program implementation; and abide by and implement Save the Children's Agency Policies including the Child Safeguarding Policy
Contract length: Fixed term position until December 31, 2021 based in National Capital Region Office, Quezon City
