HUMAN RESOURCES GENERALIST
 
Job Summary:
 
The HR Generalist will be responsible for supporting various HR functions, including employee engagement, compensation and benefits administration, recruitment, employee relations, and administrative/document management. This role ensures that HR operations are organized, compliant, and contribute to a positive work environment.
 
Key Responsibilities:
 
Recruitment & Selection
Manage end-to-end recruitment, including job posting, candidate screening, interviewing, and onboarding coordination.
Coordinate with department heads to understand staffing needs and job requirements.
Facilitate pre-employment requirements, background checks, and new hire orientation.
Prepare and organize onboarding kits for new employees, including company laptop, uniform, ID, and other required materials.
Ensure smooth onboarding by coordinating with IT, Admin, and other departments for equipment and access setup.
Compensation and Benefits
Create and maintain the attendance reports of both corporate and labor employees.
Monitor, validate, and process employees' leave requests in accordance with company policies.
Handle government-mandated benefits requirements such as SSS, Pag-IBIG, and PhilHealth (e.g., loan applications, maternity benefits, updates, and other transactions).
Administer employee health benefits, including enrollment, updates, and coordination with the provider.
Coordinate with payroll for accurate and timely processing of attendance, deductions, and benefits adjustments.
Assist employees with inquiries related to compensation, benefits, and statutory contributions.
Employee Engagement
Work closely with and assist the HR Consultant in developing employee engagement activities, programs, and initiatives.
Lead and support the execution of engagement events, celebrations, team-building activities, and company-wide programs.
Conduct employee feedback surveys and contribute to action planning for engagement improvements.
Employee Relations
Assist in addressing employee concerns and help maintain a positive and professional work environment.
Support the implementation of company policies and ensure employees are informed of HR updates and guidelines.
Prepare and issue employee relations documents such as NTEs (Notice to Explain), NODs (Notice of Decision), memos, and other disciplinary or corrective action forms.
Document incident reports, disciplinary actions, and employee feedback for proper monitoring and record-keeping.
Coordinate with management during investigations, meetings, and resolution of employee concerns.
Administration & Document Management
Organize and maintain HR files and other company records (both digital and physical).
Prepare HR reports, memos, notices, and other necessary documents.
Support admin tasks such as coordinating meetings and handling office documents.
Assist the CEO and other departments with various tasks as needed to ensure smooth daily operations.
Qualifications and Requirements:
Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Psychology, Business Administration, or related field.
Preferably with 1-3 years of HR or administrative experience.
Strong organizational and time-management skills.
Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.
Can work under minimal supervision and manage tasks independently.
Knowledge of labor laws and HR best practices is an advantage.
Proficiency in MS Office and/or HRIS systems.
