Build solid relationships with senior managers and provide generalist HR support and advice on all areas of human capital management; from planning process including performance management, merit review and succession planning.
Collaborate with the rest of the People and Culture team on different projects.
Manage and own employee relations (e.g. disciplinary, grievance, performance management, redundancy/restructuring etc.) including development of processes, templates etc. to ensure consistency and strong management of cases.
Understand current and future talent requirements and development plans and will work in conjunction with all the team to roll out talent initiatives.
Take accountability for and facilitate resolution of employee discipline and grievance cases and consult with business/legal as appropriate
Provide coaching to managers and supervisors on processes including legal implications of not following a process and they are adhering to and executing the process correctly
Promotes and supports well-being at work initiatives, directly derived from the results of the Employee Feedback Surveys
Contributes to generate innovative initiatives in employee relations
Champion continuous improvement across the team ensuring all members stay up to date with legal updates and other best practice developments in HR.
Requirements
Diploma / Higher Diploma / Bachelor's Degree in Human Resource or equivalent, and/or working towards post graduate qualification.
A well-organised, process orientated and positive approach
Minimum of 8-10 years' experience working in a generalist HR functions, at least 3 years in managerial capacity
A flexible and collaborative approach, with an ability to thrive in ambiguity and enjoy a fast-paced and dynamic environment
A proven track record in HR business partnership
A broad HR experience across a diverse customer base, with experience of working with different cultures
Confidence in dealing with employee relations and an understanding of employment legislation
A persuasive and engaging style
Strong communication skills - verbal and written
Excellent interpersonal and relationship building skills
