Description
The Human Resources (HR) Administrator performs a generalist role who will be a key contributor to the site HR programs and activities. He/she will assist primarily in the areas of recruitment, benefits administration, learning and development, statutory reporting and HR records maintenance.
This role provides an opportunity for the selected candidate to grow and develop following the HR business partner model. As an HR Administrator, you will become part of a highly collaborative team; working closely with other employees across functions and levels.
RESPONSIBILITIES:
Recruitment
Prepares job advertisements for posting.
Conducts initial screening, endorsements to hiring managers and reference checking.
Processes new hire documentation such as job offer letters, contracts and other necessary paperwork.
Updates the applicant database and maintain applicant statistics.
Assists in the completion of pre-employment requirements (including pre-employment medical and reference checks); and, advises Payroll Team for payroll & timekeeping system account creation.
In charge with coordination for onboarding sessions.
Attends recruitment runs and job fairs, if needed.
Benefits Administration
Handles benefit enrollment, update and deletion for health and insurance coverage.
Coordinates with service providers on billings processing.
Assists employees on company benefits queries (including requests for certificate of employment, company IDs, etc.).
Learning and Development
In charge with the coordination of training sessions and seminars (assisting the HR Manager) in terms of logistics (venue, participants, facilitators, equipment and materials).
Assists in conducting training needs analysis and development of training calendar.
Employee Relations
Assists in planning and implementation of employee events.
Ensures complete documentation of performance and/or disciplinary action-related processes on employee's files.
Handles necessary documentation on employee separation process and help conduct exit interviews.
HR Records Maintenance
Ensures accuracy and timeliness of employee information encoded in the employee database.
Maintains employee's 201 file.
Monitors end of probationary or project period, sending notifications and follow-ups.
Assists in the preparation of statutory reports (DOLE, PEZA, etc.)
Collaborates with other HR team members in ensuring work instructions and processes are available and complied with.
QUALIFICATIONS:
Bachelor's Degree in Human Resources Management or similar field
At least 3 years related work experience in recruitment, benefits administration and other above HR fields; preferably in shared services or BPO industry
Strong verbal and written English skills
Proficient in MS Word, Excel and Powerpoint. Experience in MS Forms is preferred.
Experience in the use of HR systems and tools such as Success Factors, Jobvite, and external job portal sites.
Must be willing to learn new tasks.
Strong interpersonal skills and with customer service orientation.
Flexible and open to new ideas; an advocate of continuous improvement.
