Description
The Human Resources (HR) Administrator performs a generalist role who will mostly contribute to the site HR tasks and activities. He/she will assist with recruitment, employee relations, performance management, learning and development, record maintenance, and, timekeeping.
Responsibilities:
1. Recruitment (Non-Exempt/Non-managerial positions):
Assist in preparation of job advertisements for posting .
Posting of the job requirements and creation of the requisition in ATS (i.e. Jobvite).
Conduct resume screening, interview scheduling, preliminary interviews, and reference checking.
Prepare job offers, contracts and other documents for hiring.
Regularly update the recruitment tracker.
Organize, collate and file resumes of applicants.
Update the applicant database and maintain applicant statistics.
Attend recruitment runs and job fairs.
Monitor and request payment for referral incentive or completion bonus.
Coordinate with candidates and resource persons for onboarding sessions.
2. Records Maintenance
Ensure accuracy and timeliness of employee information encoded in the employee database.
Maintenance of employee's 201 file.
Monitor end of probationary or project period, sending notifications and follow-ups.
Prepare employment certificates as per employee request.
3. Employee Relations / Performance Management
Assist in the preparation and implementation of people activities.
Assist in the implementation of the other retention programs.
Ensure complete documentation of performance and/or disciplinary action-related processes on employee's files.
Complete necessary documentation on employee separation process and help conduct exit interviews.
4. Learning and Development
Coordinate training sessions and seminars by assisting HR Manager in preparation for logistics (venue, participants, facilitators, equipment and materials)
Assist in conducting training needs analysis and development of training calendar
5. Timekeeping
Maintaining accurate timekeeping data by checking and verifying data filed by employees versus what is recorded in the system.
Provides necessary reports on a regular basis (ex. overtime, work hours, leaves, perfect attendance)
May be assigned to assist payroll team as needed.
