Job description
The HR Supervisor oversees and coordinates the daily functions of the Human Resources department, including hiring, training, employee relations, performance management, and compliance with labor laws. This position supports strategic initiatives while ensuring that all HR operations run smoothly and efficiently.
Key Responsibilities:
Manage, mentor, and support the HR team in their daily responsibilities.
Ensure HR policies and procedures are followed consistently.
Work with hiring managers to develop job descriptions and hiring criteria.
Serve as the primary point of contact for employee issues and concerns.
Mediate and resolve workplace conflicts and grievances.
Implement employee engagement and recognition programs to boost morale.
Coordinate performance appraisal programs and ensure that evaluations are conducted fairly and timely.
Assist in the development of career paths and succession planning initiatives.
Identify training needs and organize relevant training programs.
Assist with compliance audits and reporting.
Administer employee compensation and benefits programs.
Supervise the creation and implementation of training programs.
Monitor the progress of employee development initiatives and adjust as needed.
Analyze HR metrics such as turnover rates, time-to-hire, and employee satisfaction.
Prepare reports and presentations for senior management on HR issues and trends.
Ensure workplace safety compliance and support wellness initiatives.
Address workplace accidents and related employee claims.
Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree in human resources, Business Administration, or related field.
5+ years of experience in an HR role, with at least 2 years in a supervisory position.
Strong knowledge of labor laws and HR best practices.
Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
Skills:
