Job Description
HR Strategy and Organizational Culture: Work with the Senior HR and Admin Manager
to develop an HR strategy and to ensure that W-Tech is resourced to deliver on its strategic objectives; ensure that all aspects of the assigned HR function promote an organizational culture of teamwork and service, high quality, transparency and accountability, innovation and inclusiveness. Design and implement corporate activities to enhance a positive corporate culture, in line with company’s mission and values. When necessary, install a broad spectrum of OD interventions (Human Process Interventions, Techno-structural, Strategic Interventions, Organizational Climate Studies, and Quality of Work Life) to achieve organizational effectiveness.
HR Policies and Procedures: Ensure continuous improvement of HR systems and policies in line with current best practices and changing labor laws/regulations, if any.
HR Policy Management: Conceptualize, review, recommend, and ensure the implementation of the company’s current HR policy and proactively providing assistance and guidance to supervisors, team leaders and/or employees when necessary.
Employee Relations/Supporting HR Implementation.
Labor Relations. Ensures the effective settlement of employee grievances and labor cases and implementation of the Company’s Code of Discipline and HR policies.
Improving performance: Ensure the effective and timely implementation of the appraisal process, including monthly and quarterly reviews and support of the ongoing superior- employee meetings relevant to performance assessment/result issues. Ensures that employee performance is properly measured for the purpose of identifying needed improvement, determining merit, and maximizing employee motivation.
Job Evaluation. Installs job evaluation programs to minimize (if not totally eliminate) inequity in terms of salary distortions, poorly classified jobs and salary scales and unclear job descriptions.
Staff development, engagement and career progression: Focus on talent development including the regular processes of staff appraisal and feedback, goal setting, professional development and career development to ensure that all employees have the opportunity to fulfil their career potential consistent with company’s vision, mission, and values and employee’s development needs.
Staff/People Development
employee relationships and HR issues in line with company policies and best practices, including employee disciplinary actions/matters, grievances, employee issues and
absence(s) management.

Motivates and mentors’ staff towards customer delight, integrity, and excellence on the job
Conducts annual performance appraisal to review direct subordinate performance
Reviews and recommends commendations, salary adjustments and rewards (for exemplary staff performance) or disciplinary action (for erring staff)
Prepares recommendations on staff hiring, promotions, transfers, and other employee movements
Recommends plans and programs for people development, learning and growth
Reviews and approves staff work schedules including leave requests, under time, overtime and other work/attendance-related matters
Prepares and oversees the overall operating budget of the Department to maintain expenditure controls.
Actively participates, promotes, and supports all Company-initiated programs and activities.
Ensures that risk management function is integrated into all aspects of the business operations.
Performs other tasks as may be assigned by immediate superior from time to time.
