We are looking for an Hsseq (Health, Safety, Security, Environment and Quality) Auditor to join our Compliance and Competence
team. The responsibilities of this position require a high degree of specialized expertise and skill in maintaining established standards
of quality and accuracy. Drive, determination and a self-disciplined approach to achieving results that meet these established criteria
are necessary for successful job performance.
The position requires specialized technical problem solving and ingenuity while working within approved organizational systems and
technology, and the demonstration of the values of integrity, quality and caution. The work requires making decisions that support
company guidelines authoritatively and quickly.
The position is expected to cooperate and support colleagues and bring forward relevant matters within own area of responsibility.
Areas of Responsibility:
Quality Assurance of the Odfjell standards on board the fleet
Documentation of all the audits and campaigns organized by the HSSEQ for the lowering of identified risk and hazards
Support to the fleet and HSSEQ team as required
Coordination, design and development, and production of various safety campaign materials
Tasks
The Hsseq Auditor ---
Manages and develops various campaigns to eradicate identified hazards onboard vessels
Actively promotes the company's HSSEQ programs and assists the shipboard management team with implementation of
said programs
Acts as auditor for HSSEQ department during internal office audit
Attends training needs of vessels as directed by the HSSEQ department
Identifies and develops procedures to improve quality and safety in the fleet
Maintains good knowledge of all regulations and keeps oneself updated with any new developments within the industry in
terms of navigation, operational and safety matters
Coordinates with Competence in developing courses
Produces campaign articles and multimedia materials as directed by the HSSEQ department
Bachelor's degree, Marine related or nautical education, an advantage
Minimum two (2) years' work experience
Good working knowledge of industry's guidelines, rules and regulations
Good knowledge in Microsoft applications including PowerPoint, BI and Forms
Good interpersonal communication skills and ability to work independently as well as part of a team
Basic knowledge in using video editing software and techniques in arranging and manipulating video footages, including
sound effects, music, text, etc.
Knowledge and/or experience in production and development of campaigns is an advantage
Associate / Supervisor Safety and Security Transportation 1 opening Bachelor's degree graduate
