The Human Resource Specialist is an HR generalist responsible for supporting, partnering, administering all Human Resource programs including but not limited to Recruitment, Selection & Onboarding, Employee/Labor Relations, and Learning and Development.
RECRUITMENT AND SELECTION
Co-manages the overall recruitment process thru partnering with the TA Manager and hiring manager within the APAC cluster countries. Provides advice and support to supervisors and staff selection committees and ensures that they have accurate and timely information to make effective decisions.
1. Conducts initial evaluation of the approved Personnel Requisition Form ensuring completeness of information on the position requirements, its target date and discuss with requisitioning department on matters needing clarification.
2. Co-manage and lead that end-to-end cycle of recruitment and selection:
a. Source out applicants by utilizing available resources such as review of application in the active files, posting of internal and external ads, networking with public employment offices, online application, and other effective recruitment strategies.
b. Coordinates interview schedules and logistical requirements with hiring managers
c. Conducts reference checks to possible candidates
e. Ensure that new hire employees submit all pre-employment requirements prior joining the company
e. Inform unsuccessful applicants
3. Assist the TA Manager in reviewing the Recruitment policies and processes
4. Actively provides inputs and analysis in various Recruitment dashboard and metrics.
5. Reviews competency requirements for roles, prepares interview guides, coaches managers in conducting behavioral/competency-based interviews.
ONBOARDING
Lead on-boarding program through review of program principles and framework, coordinates logistical requirements, provides evaluation and feedback to enhance program and new employee experience
Support Manager and Function Manager to ensure that on-boarding program/plan are being followed as scheduled
Ensures that Tools of the Trade and Onboarding Checklist are ready and issued to new hires.
LEARNING AND DEVELOPMENT (Ad-hoc)
1. Facilitate the training logistic requirements which include the following:
a. Preparation of training invitation, manual and other materials.
b. Properly disseminates training schedule and program to target department.
c. Coordinate with the target Department on logistical and employee's attendance relative to training.
d. Coordinates with appropriate personnel and or supplier/s in preparation for the training conduct including availability of venue, equipment, food, and other trainer's requirements are set prior to the actual training.
e. Consolidates Participants' Feedback in Training Programs conducted.
2. Prepares certificates of attendance/completion in an accurate and timely manner.
EMPLOYEE/LABOR RELATION AND ADMINISTRATIVE FUNCTIONS (Ad-hoc)
1. Provides logistic assistance in the corporate activities such as but not limited to Christmas Party, Kick-Off, and other Engagement Activities.
2. Conducts Exit Interview for non-manager positions and assists resigning / separated employees in clearance procedures and update them of the status of their last pay as may deem necessary.
OTHERS (Ad hoc)
Supports documentation of Performance Evaluation of all rank and file employees this includes but not limited to Annual Performance Review, Midyear Review, Probationary Review, Performance Improvement Plan, Promotion process etc.
Performs other HR related functions that may be assigned from time to time.

5. Managing Human Resources Function - Basic knowledge in other facets of human resources functions
6. Customer Service - Able to identify internal and external customers / clients; attend to customer needs and complaints and provide immediate feedback to queries/concerns raised.
JOB QUALIFICATION
1. Bachelor's Degree in business, Human Resources or related field preferred.
2. At least 5 years' work experience Human Resource strong expertise in Talent Acquisition, with substantial experience in handling volume requirements, and niche roles for the Philippines and other APAC labor markets; background in HR Generalist an advantage
3. Can communicate and coordinate with all levels in the organization
