Job Description
JOB SUMMARY:
Implements and evaluates Culture and Competency-Based Learning and Development Programs with the objective of developing and optimizing employees' competencies for current and future organizational requirements.
DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
1. Competency Development
Ensures consistency of application of competencies in all learning & developmental initiatives.
Supports employees in the completion of Individual Development Plan (IDP) and supports the identification of gap analysis and interventions to help close performance gaps.
Monitors completion of IDP and its interventions.
2. Learning & Development
Coordinates with Central HR and communicates the Annual Training Plan to site.
Implements learning and development plans, programs, policies, budget, and follows standard procedures and work instructions to complete the process.
Coordinates with employees, trainers, consultants, and suppliers when implementing learning and organizational development activities to ensure that they are performed on time, effectively, and within budget.
Coordinates learning and development schedule, venue, food and other logistical requirements for effective implementation of all related programs.
Facilitates evaluation of learning and development programs to ensure application of learning or change in behavior and performance.
Liaises with Learning & Devt team of Aboitiz Equity Ventures (AEV) and coordinates with Central L & D and AHEAD in charged.
Facilitates technical and/or external trainings of partners in the Site.
Implements & monitors development programs such as Project Me etc.
Implements Learning & Development System.
Identifies training needs of employees and works with other managers on program development, seeks training providers for training facilitation; coordinates scheduling and logistics with participants in order to ensure training programs are implemented to increase Team Member development, efficiency, and performance.
Monitor training compliance in order to ensure core courses are taken by employees at the right time.
3. Talent Management
Supports in the implementation and evaluation of Aboitiz Talent Management Program (ATMP).
Supports in the identification of critical positions, high-potential employees, and second-liners.
Generates needed information to support Key Talent Reviews.
Participates in the development and implementation of interventions to develop competencies and promote engagement of high potential employees.
Facilitates evaluation of the implemented interventions/developmental plans and makes recommendations.
Facilitates and coordinates promotions of partners.
Create, conduct and upkeep key talent review profiles and succession management (limited to Manager level) plans of critical positions and high potential employees in order to support management in developmental initiatives such as talent mobility and professional growth.
Facilitate promotion exercise for Managers and below and support HR Business Partner by ensuring collection of nominations, evaluation, approval and communication are executed in order to promote internal development and growth.
Monitor the progress of individual development plans and act as a consultant to provide developmental action plans that support the team's competency framework in order to drive self-development and growth in the organization.
4. Performance Management
Monitors and ensures accomplishment of Goals and Performance Evaluation.
Coordinates with Central on the schedule and deadline.
5. Culture and Employee Engagement
Plans, organizes, leads and evaluates culture and employee engagement activities in the site.
Guides and acts as facilitator of Task Force Team Work.
6. Documentation and Support
Maintains the Training Log of the whole Food Group
Regularly reviews and updates all learning and development processes, procedures, forms, and references.
Supports in the preparation of monthly and annual culture, learning & development reports
Regularly reviews and makes recommendations on best practices in competency, training and development, culture and other HR-related activities.
Qualifications
EDUCATION:
Graduate of 4-year course preferably Psychology, Behavioral Studies, or any related course.
EXPERIENCE:
Minimum two (2) years experience in human resources under Organizational Development, Training and/or talent management areas.
Industry Experience/Exposure
Experience working with any of the following industry is an advantage:
FMCG or Food Production company
Agro-Industries i.e. poultry, swine or meat production
