SUMMARY OF ROLE
The HRSS Specialist, Learning Management System (LMS) will provide technical leadership in the management of the company's LMS. This position will design, develop, implement, deliver and maintain content and other resources used for leaning functions. He or she will be the primary point-of-contact for the training community across the company using LMS to create, deliver and report on learning/training requirements. He or she will be responsible for the day-to-day operations of the LMS.
MAJOR RESPONSIBILITIES:
-Serve as the regional administrator of the Learning Management System of Maxeon
-Define and maintain standard operating procedures and best practices for the use of LMS in the company to meet its priorities
-Collaborate with the stakeholders to understand business requirements and translate these into a system design
-Configure LMS to meet business requirement and coordinate testing and implementation of system changes
-Configure and maintain the company's Brainshark site to meet business requirements; manage associated licenses and author access
-Maintain content within the LMS by creating, uploading and updating modules or courses
-Oversee course creation and implementation done at the local level, and ensure quality of courses housed in LMS through regular review/audit of course status; coordinate elimination of redundant, conflicting or outdated courses
-Ensure compliance with LMS and training course standards and policies through regular audits
-Troubleshoot system related issues with the LMS; address regional admin escalations; engage with the vendor on product issues for technical support
-Monitor daily integration feeds (from SFTP server to LMS) and address errors, if any
-Grant access and role-based user permissions in the system
-Train LMS users according to their specific access levels
-Maintain accurate and complete LMS records; prepare SOX audit requirements for LMS
-Deliver routine LMS reporting and respond to basic to intermediate ad hoc data requests
-Keep abreast of product (SF Learning module) updates/releases and assessing appropriateness to business
-Drive change management and communication related to LMS changes or updates
-Keep current on industry trends on Learning Management Systems and administration
Minimum Education and Experience:
-Bachelor's degree and 3+ years of related experience
-OR equivalent combination of education and years of related experience
Preferred Requirements:
-Experience with administration of the learning management system of the company
-Extensive experience working with SuccessFactors or other cloud-based HR software platform
-Experience with managing BrainShark or a similar learning platform
-Excellent organization skills and meticulous attention to detail; process oriented
-Excellent communication skills, written and oral, and interpersonal skills
-Exposure to Human Resources processes preferred
-Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Office applications
-Excellent Analytical, Data Management and Presentation Skills
-Strong attention to detail, analytical acumen, intellectual curiosity, creativity, a proven work ethic.
-Proven customer service, significant experience related to verbal communication skills, process improvement, problem solving, teamwork, and quality assurance.
-Demonstrated partnering and collaboration skills.
-Ability to work under pressure
