JOB DESCRIPTIONS
Manage the day-to-day operations of the payroll department, including the processing of semi-monthly payrolls and related reports.
Ensure the accuracy of payroll information through review, audit, and analysis of employee timesheets, payroll records, and reports.
Maintain payroll system, including data entry, updating of employee information, and maintenance of electronic time tracking records.
Ensure payroll is processed timely and accurately in accordance with government regulations.
Answer questions and provide customer service to internal and external customers regarding payroll matters
Ensure compliance with payroll-related regulations regarding wage garnishments, taxes, and other deductions.
Train and supervise payroll staff and ensure payroll staff is organized and meets deadlines.
Maintain the confidentiality of all employee information and payroll records.
Checked and reviewed DTRs and attendance summary.
Administers Payroll Services by:
a. Preparing payroll reports on overtime claims, tardiness and leave without pay and other deductions.
b. Coordinates with HR personnel and others to ensure timely submission of timekeeping and payroll accuracy.
c. Coordinates with the accounting department on payroll budget requests to ensure an accurate and timely payout.
d. Providing first-level resolution of payroll-related issues;
e. Tracking and resolving payroll issues.
f. In charge of Payroll BDO Extract file
g. Preparing & reporting Government Loans
Employee loan monitoring
Computation of Retention, Final Pay, Separation Pay, and 13th Month Preparing Alpha list for 13th-month pay
Preparing employee's Annual Tax Withheld
Preparing BIR 1601C- CPCMC, CPMDC, CPHC (Monthly) and Assisting Finance in preparing 2316 employees and other Documents to be submitted at BIR yearly (all site projects)
Ensures complete, accurate, and updated monthly contributions and loan payments such as SSS monthly remittances, SSS loan payments, PAG-IBIG remittances, PAG-IBIG loan payments, Philhealth, etc.
Reports Government-mandated remittances.
Process SSS/HDMF salary/calamity loan.
Perform other duties as may be required from time to time
QUALIFICATIONS
Bachelor's degree in finance, accounting, business, or a related field.
At least 5 years of payroll experience.
Strong knowledge of payroll laws and regulations.
Strong organizational, communication, and customer service skills.
Able to work independently and manage multiple priorities.
Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and payroll software
