Tribal is challenging how technology enables the education world, and we are looking for an experienced HR Operations Team Leader to be part of our team!
The role
As the HR Operations Team leader, you will manage a team of HR Assistants in the Philippines to ensure the transactional HR service delivery to the business meets agreed SLA's and is as efficient and effective as it can be. This includes the triage and allocation of incoming tasks and delivering a full range of administrative services to underpin efficient and compliant people transactions.
Working in conjunction with the Head of HR Operations in the UK, you will have a strong focus on driving delivery and continuous improvement, identify opportunities to streamline further, automate and improve existing processes, and develop and implement new HR processes and procedures where appropriate. The role will ensure all processes meet the needs of the local businesses but remain globally consistent and provide a high-quality experience for users.
Key responsibilities:
Manage, support, and develop a team of HR Assistants
Act as the first point of contact, providing guidance and support on a full range of transactional processes and policies varying in complexity from contractual queries to advice on implementing specific people policies.
Administer and process a range of end-to-end transactional processes, including using a range of HR Information Systems (HRIS).
To contribute to HR projects designed to support the continuous functions development and constant improvement and agreed priority areas.
What skills and experience can I bring to the role?
First and foremost, you will have experience working as part of an HR service, with proven experience in successfully managing a team to deliver against agreed service levels. You will have excellent written and verbal communication skills in English along with exceptional organisational skills, the ability to meet deadlines, and keep team colleagues informed of progress on critical tasks. You will have a good foundation in employment law and working knowledge of basic principles, with experience of working in a globally dispersed team.
You will join an established, well respected, and globally distributed HR team. You will support core business activity alongside our HR specialists in the UK, it is expected that the successful candidate will work from 2pm - 10pm PHST.
