· Reports to Chief Administrative Officer
· Work closely with various departments, increasingly in a consultancy role, assisting managers to understand and implement policies and procedures
· Promote equality and diversity as part of the culture of the organization
· Liaising with a range of people involved in policy areas such as staff performance and health and safety
· Recruiting staff, which involves developing job descriptions and person specifications, preparing job adverts, checking application forms, short listing, interviewing and selecting candidates
· Develops and implements policies on issues like working conditions, performance management, equal opportunities, disciplinary procedures and absence management
· Negotiate with staff on issues relating to pay and conditions
· Administer payroll and maintaining historical employee records by designing a filing and retrieval system; keeping must and current record.
· Deals with grievances and implementing disciplinary procedures
· Develops HR planning strategies, which consider immediate and long-term staff requirements
· Plans and sometimes delivering training, including new staff inductions
· Analyze training needs in conjunction with departmental managers.
· Ensures planning, monitoring and appraisal of employee work results by training man agree to coach and discipline employees.
· Maintains employee benefits programs and informs employees of benefits by studying and assessing benefit needs and wants; recommending benefit program to management.
· Ensures legal compliance by monitoring and implementing applicable human resource state requirements.
· Maintains management guidelines by preparing, updating and recommending human resource policies and procedures.
· Administer performance review program to ensure effectiveness, compliance and safety within the organization.
· Performs other related duties that may be assigned by the immediate superior when and where applicable.
JOB SKILLS AND QUALIFICATIONS
Preferably a graduate of AB/BS Psychology or Human Resource Management
Experience as an HR Officer or a similar HR role is a plus
Good understanding of labor laws
Proficient in Microsoft Office
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
Detail-oriented
Excellent Organizational Skills
Problem-Solving Skills
