Leads and controls all activities of the HR department. Participates in developing department goals, objectives, and systems.
Implements and annually updates compensation program; rewrites job descriptions as necessary; conducts annual salary surveys and develops merit pool (salary budget); analyzes compensation; monitors the performance evaluation program and revises as necessary.
Develops, recommends, and implements personnel policies and procedures; prepares and maintains handbook on policies and procedures; performs benefits administration to include claims resolution, change reporting, approving invoices for payment, annual re-evaluation of policies for cost-effectiveness, information activities program, and cash flow.
Establishes HR systems to maintain department records and reports. Participates in administrative staff meetings and attends other meetings. Maintains company organization charts and employee directories.
Evaluates reports, decisions, and results of each department in relation to established goals. Recommends new approaches, policies, and procedures to effect continual improvements in the efficiency of each department and services performed. Spearheads manpower resource planning and ensures effective recruiting, onboarding, professional development, performance management, and retention
Reports to EXECOM regarding the human resource productivity (KRAs) of the companies
Ensures effective & timely recruitment for manpower requirements, utilizing diverse recruitment channels, and optimizes candidate selection while ensuring smooth onboarding and training of new hires
Acts as chief liaison with manpower agencies and monitors their performance against KPIs
Acts as primary champion and enforcer of company policies: applies due process and fair investigation in handling misconduct reports and critical incidents reports; conducts employee counseling / disciplinary interviews, among others
Represents the company during DOLE/NLRC hearings
Champions the desired company culture, and advocates for the company values & credo
Monitors and promotes consistent and effective evaluation of employee performance, task rotations, employee development, hiring, and firing, etc.
Organizes the performance appraisals and, analyzes output towards implementing strategies arising from organization-wide goal setting,
Oversees employee productivity, building a highly-inclusive culture that allows team members to thrive and for organizational outcomes to be met.
Conducts employee counseling and career planning
Prepares other reports or fulfills other tasks, as may be required by the board
Must have a Bachelor's Degree in Organizational Psychology, Psychology, or a relevant business course
