Job Description
The position is responsible for the recommendation, alignment, and implementation of HR and People strategies in partnership with the COE/Shared Services team. The position provides professional HR guidance to relevant internal client groups with the objective of adding value to the business. This includes the effective delivery of HR Services, HR Business Partnering, and related requirements of the assigned accounts/units.
Key Duties and Responsibilities:
HR Services Delivery/HR Business Partnering
Recommends and implements end-to-end HR and People services, systems, and procedures aligned with the overall HR/People and Business strategies.
Scopes and addresses requirements of accounts/units handled in partnership with the HR COE/Share Services team.
Collaborates with the HR Center of Excellence team to identify the site's organizational and employee concerns and conceptualizes strategies or various organizational development programs to ensure employee motivation and engagement Ensure effective implementation of organizational development programs.
Collaborates with the team lead in managing departmental expenditure within the target budget.
Talent Attraction
Supports Attraction-related initiatives (scope assigned by COE/Support)
Performance Management
Support in the monitoring of employee performance and Individual Development Plan.
Process promotion endorsement and requirements.
Support in the implementation and closure of Performance Improvement Plans
Talent Optimization/Learning and Development
KTR Profiling of critical talents and high potentials for Managers and Below
Support in the succession discussion and KTR profiling of GSL 3-5 executives of accounts/unit handled
Support in the developmental interventions of identified critical talents and High Potential of the accounts/unit handled (in partnership with L&D and OE teams)
Support in the rollout and implementation of Learning and Development initiatives and programs
Engagement and Culture Building
Support in the rollout and implementation of Culture and Engagement initiatives and programs
Retention
Benefits Administration and Salary Review (scope assigned by COE/Support)
Employee/Labor Relations and Other Governance-Related Functions
Ensures proper implementation of company code of discipline
Collaborates with the Team Leaders in the resolution of problems and handling of disciplinary cases in their respective departments and ensures that actions taken should be in compliance with the labor laws.
Oversees and ensures that Labor-related compliance requirements are delivered and met.
Qualifications
Bachelor's degree holder preferably in Psychology, Industrial Psychology, Behavioral Studies, or any related course
Minimum of 5 years of HR experience in a managerial capacity
3 - 5 years of HR generalist experience
Knowledge of local labor, employment regulations, and HR best practices
Good knowledge and understanding of employment-related Acts (e.g. Labor Law, Industrial Relations Act, Trade Union Act, etc.) and other relevant regulations
