HR Assistant is responsible for running the daily functions of the Human Resource Development and Management department including hiring and interviewing staff, processing and monitoring government-mandated benefits, and employee engagement.
Key Responsibilities:
Government-Mandated Benefits
Administers admission and compliance of all statutory benefits (SSS, PHIC, HDMF, BIR).
Facilitates and processes all employees' applications for loans, sickness reimbursement, and other employer/employees' concern on SSS, PHIC, and HDMF.
Prepare and monitor employees' SSS loans & Pag Ibig Loans payments.
Ensure that monthly statutory reports and remittances are accurate and are posted on time based on the deadline given by different government agencies
Employees Engagement
Assist in employee engagement activities organization-wide, including but not limited to; planning of events, conducting proactive communications to engage employees, coordination and participation of events planned and implemented.
Creates and communicates engagement Calendar of Activities.
Work with the HR team to coordinate the engagement plans, activity proposals, and other strategies.
Recruitment
Source resumes, recruits, interviews, and facilitates hiring qualified job applicants for open positions; collaborates with departmental managers to understand skills and competencies required for openings.
Conducts or acquires background checks and employment eligibility verifications.
Qualifications:
Bachelor's Degree in Human Resource Management, Business Administration or equivalent.
With at least 3-5 years of experience in a related field.
In-depth knowledge in Government-Mandated Laws and Statutory Benefits, Employee Engagement, and Recruitment.
Self-starter, sense of urgency, and works well under pressure
Ability to foster a sense of professionalism and relationship building for self and team
Willing to work physically in Makati Office
Willing start asap or in January 2022
