Job Summary:
 
Forty Degrees Celsius Inc. (FDCI) is seeking a dynamic and experienced HR Generalist to join our growing team! The ideal candidate will have a strong background in employee relations, HMO/benefits management, and retention programs. This role will be responsible for fostering a positive work environment, ensuring compliance with company policies, and implementing HR strategies to enhance employee engagement and retention.
 
Key Responsibilities:
 
Employee Relations & Workplace Culture
Serve as the primary HR contact for employee concerns, grievances, and workplace conflicts, ensuring compliance with labor laws and company policies.
Partner with the manager to foster a positive work culture, providing guidance on disciplinary actions, terminations, and performance improvement plans.
Retention & Engagement Programs
Develop and implement retention strategies to improve employee satisfaction and reduce turnover (e.g., stay interviews, exit interviews, policy improvements).
Plan and execute employee engagement initiatives, including recognition programs, team-building activities, and company events.
HMO & Benefits Administration
Oversee the company's HMO program, ensuring timely enrollment, policy renewals, and accurate account updates (additions, cancellations, corrections).
Act as the liaison between employees and the HMO provider, assisting with benefit inquiries and claims processing.
Provide employees with guidance on their HMO coverage and healthcare options.
Compliance & HR Policy Development
Assist in HR policy development to ensure compliance with labor laws and industry best practices.
Stay updated on legal and regulatory changes affecting HR policies.
Performance Management & Employee Development
Support performance management processes, including appraisals and training programs, to enhance employee development and productivity.
Maintain accurate employee records and HR databases for compliance, reporting, and efficient HR operations.
Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, Psychology, or a related field.
2-3+ years of HR generalist experience, with expertise in employee relations, benefits management, and retention strategies.
Strong knowledge of labor laws, HR best practices, and employee engagement techniques.
Excellent problem-solving, conflict resolution, and interpersonal skills.
High level of professionalism, confidentiality, and attention to detail.
Proficiency in Google Workspace (Sheets, Docs, Slides) for document management, data analysis, and presentations.
Experience with HRIS or similar HR management software is a plus.
