Description
HR COMPLIANCE ASSISTANT
Duties & Responsibilities:
• Developing and implementing an effective HR compliance program
• Proactively audit HR processes, practices and documents to identify weaknesses
• Draft and revise company policies to align with Dole/ legal requirements
• Work close with training team to educating and training employees on regulations and industry practices
• Create sound internal controls and monitor adherence
• Collaborate with internal auditors & legal team when needed
• Set plans to manage a crisis or compliance violation
• Address employee concerns or questions on HR compliance
• Keep abreast of internal standards and business goals
• Keep track and update HR compliance progress (Dole Clearance)
• Process PAGCOR GEL to new hire and maintain list of employees for renewal, process billing and payment request for PAGCOR payment.
• Prepares reports and analyses
• Acting as member of Data Privacy Committee
• Assist other HR department activities when required
• Handles reports on separated employees and COVID positive employees on a monthly basis.
• Process and submits DOLE compliance of LRWC and its subsidiaries as needed
QUALIFICATIONS:
Minimum Education: Graduate of Psychology, Behavioral Science or Law
Minimum Relevant Work Experience: Over one (1) year
Other Qualifications:
Knowledge of labor laws and regulations Ability to analyze/solve problems and develop creative solutions to human resource issues
Skill in the use of HRIS General knowledge of routine accounting principles and practices Strong interpersonal and communication skills
Ability to compose written materials Knowledge of office procedures, practices and etiquette With good human relations With pleasing personality
