The Role:
Reporting to the Senior Director, Human Resources, North and South East Asia, you will be primarily responsible for delivering the people plans of Kantar Philippines. This Manila-based role partners across four key businesses in Kantar Philippines, an expert, skilled and flexible HR professional who understands and successfully work with contending priorities, whilst crafting room to collaborate between different business lines.
As a member of both the Kantar local leadership and regional Country HR teams, you will truly experience working in a regional, matrix environment which improves your stakeholders leadership skills. You will play a crucial role in the business, to drive and embed HR strategies, providing professional HR expertise and partnering the people within Kantar Philippines.
You will support an unconditionally collaborative culture and partner the respective HRDs to deliver key initiatives for the various business divisions and CoE in-market and potentially, across the region.
Key Outcomes:
Supports clients in the navigation of core HR processes and leverage our HR system (Workday).
Work with line managers to support exit interviews to ensure rich data/knowledge with the aim of reducing voluntary attrition.
Advises line managers and employees on developmental tools in partnership with Talent, Leadership & Learning CoE.
Ensuring ongoing support to the Reward Vision including performance/calibration and salary review process as required.
Partners with respective divisions' HR on specific initiatives such as supporting at a country level of an acquisition.
Feeds insight of business and associated HR priorities into the development of the Business and People Strategy.
Uses business and HR insight to inspire change initiatives at a tactical level.
Works with Managers to build and implement workforce and talent management plans to meet business and succession requirements, seeing opportunities in market and at regional or global level.
Be a consultant in career management, recruitment and selection techniques to managers
Works across organizational boundaries to facilitate the movement of people across roles to support development or re-deployment
Supports changes in culture by identifying and influencing amendments to existing policies, practices and communications. Identifies gaps in HR policies and products which may impede strategic objectives to influence policy changes.
Builds positive relationships with the leadership team and key partners to foster collaborative working.
Contributes to building leadership capability within the business.
Drives alignment of organisational, functional, and personal goals to optimise performance and contribute to the business.
Acts as a role model for Leadership behaviours.
Encourages managers to adopt a performance driven culture and supports them in the implementation of reward and recognition strategies.
Coaches managers to ensure they lead by example and stay in sync with policies and local labour legislation.
Own the People Agenda across Kantar in-market to support the delivery of business objectives in line with the agreed plan and ensuring relevance to meet our business needs.
Key Capabilities:
Bachelor's degree or above in Business Administration, Human Resources Management or related field.
Minimum 8 years in-market work experience in an HR generalist role in a global organisation, including HRBP experience with broad experience within the different spectrums of the HR function.
Demonstrable track record to collaborate and partner effectively as part of a team in a highly sophisticated, matrix organisation
Sparring partner and trusted advisor to the local Leadership team with strong communication skills and customer mind-set
A phenomenal teammate who participates, takes ownership beyond his/her functional scope, to craft and define company-wide initiatives sought at strategically positioning Kantar for the future.
Solid understanding of local labour market and market practices. Well established in the local market and workplace culture.
A hands-on HR practitioner. Work on both strategic and operational HR matters with a track record of vertical mobility and talent visibility in-market.
Ability to mentor diverse leaders at different levels of the organization and serve as a 'climate thermometer' on our employee pulse.
Strong influencing skills with a collaborative work style which champions partnership and teamwork.
Excellent written and verbal communication of English.
A Business savvy HR with strong transformation and change experience, who demonstrates change agility and can see the talent strategy as an enabler of Business success
