About the Position:
The HR Business Partner ASEAN role supports all HR activities across the ASEAN region including but not limited to the Philippines, Thailand, Malaysia and Indonesia. This incorporates organizational design and effectiveness, talent selection, coaching and development of the ASEAN leadership team and employees, employee relations, and executing programs that include performance management, compensation planning, benefits administration, new hire orientation/onboarding, compliance, policy development, payroll and internal and external reporting. In addition, the incumbent will perform duties to ensure the day-to-day functioning of the HR department are done in a manner to ensure all government regulations and corporate policies, procedures, and practices are followed in the most effective manner and are in line with local regulations.
Essential Duties & Responsibilities:
· Advise management and employees on employment related matters
· Facilitate organization and leadership development efforts, working with employees and managers to address root causes of employee relations issues and resolve employee relations issues through a systematic and compliant approach
· Implement corporate policies as needed and act as a change champion by providing guidance and expertise on change management processes and ensuring effective communication with employees.
· Build strong relationships with management and employees through a highly consultative, collaborative, and active-problem solving approach
· Drive recruitment efforts including effective and compliant candidate selection and interviewing, ensuring compliance with local employment laws and regulations.
· Provide guidance on employee development to support organizational objectives.
· Focus on strategic partnership and consultative skills with leaders; collaborate with HR team for execution and implementation of programs while adhering to local market practices and regulations.
· Ensure HR policies and procedures are consistently applied across the ASEAN region, complying with local employment laws and regulations.
· Work on special assignments as they arise
· Awareness and alignment to ICU Medical's QMS policies and procedures
· Observance and compliance with OHS legislation and policies
Knowledge, Skills & Experience:
· Minimum 5 years of dedicated experience in HR Business Partner or HR Advisor / HR Generalist role
· Sound knowledge of Employment laws and regulations of the Philippines is essential
· Familiarity with Employment laws and regulations of the broader ASEAN region is preferred
· Payroll management experience is essential
· Analytical approach to projects and problem solving; strong project management skills
· Approachable and responsive resource able to connect with employees at all levels
· Ability to manage multiple priorities; complete deadlines in a fast-paced environment
· Comfortable with high volume workload and able to manage multiple and/or competing priorities
· Strong internal and external customer service focus with a genuine desire to assist others
· Excellent verbal and written communication skills
· Strong presentation skills and facilitation experience to effectively deliver a variety of HR-related training programs to managers/colleagues
· Excellent organizational and interpersonal skills
· Detail-oriented, especially with regard to effectively managing and documenting employee relations issues and investigations
· Ability to speak/read/write both Tagalog and English
Education and Qualifications:
· Bachelor's degree from an accredited college or university in a related field
Minimum Qualifications:
Must have Philippines working rights
