The Role
The Human Resources function has played a key role in Synpulse's growth story and will continue to pave the way for the upcoming milestone. As an HR Associate, you will have hands-on experience in supporting the end-to-end HR processes for the Manila office. You will have the opportunity to meet various stakeholders to learn about the unique challenges that the function is facing in the IT/Consulting business.
Talent Acquisition
Support in talent acquisition activities, particularly in managing interviews and sourcing of candidates
Conducts initial interviews if needed
Manage various recruitment channels (e.g. job portals, universities, headhunters, referrals) to ensure a steady flow of quality candidates
Assist in organizing university recruiting events that showcase our employer branding among potential candidates
Onboarding & Offboarding
Assist in the pre-boarding process to ensure complete pre-employment requirements of new hires
Collaborate with health care vendor for enrollment of HMOs
Collaborate with bank for new hires' payroll account enrollment
Assist with the preparation of onboarding kit
Update various systems with new joiner's information
Assist in the exit process of leavers to ensure proper exit clearance are met
Manage termination of leavers' HMO and deactivate the leaver's account in various systems
Compute leaver's pro-rated balance and endorse leaver's information to Finance team for final pay processing
Performance Management & Talent Development
Assist in the performance appraisal process and in maintaining and updating data in the performance management system
Assist in training & development initiatives
HR Support and Other HR-related tasks
Manage day-to-day employee concerns and coordinate with appropriate stakeholders if necessary
Draft employment certificates and other related documents
Maintain and ensure accuracy of employment records in the database
Record leave balances of employees
Organize employee engagement and other organizational development activities to boost employee morale
Support company's business continuity initiatives (e.g. COVID-related projects)
Support in the coordination and implementation of HR initiatives and systems
Any other ad-hoc assignments
What We Look For:
Degree holder in Psychology, Behavioral Science, Human Resources Management, or a related field
At least 2 years of work experience in general HR is preferred
Knowledgeable in various areas of HR
Able to communicate effectively across various organizational levels and diverse cultures
Able to handle multiple tasks at a time
Able to work independently with minimum supervision, as well as in a team, to drive results
Proficient with Microsoft Office
Entrepreneurial spirit
