What you will do as Country HR Assistant- Philippines & Singapore
The role holder will provide appropriate, timely, and professional human resources management service to make sure that the general administration process is done properly in line with prevailing procedure. S/he will also ensure a continuous alignment with Global People Services team and manage administrative of Hire2Retire activities.
S/he will support resident directors in the Philippines and Singapore on updating policy and procedures, in line with the global guideline, country law, and workforce market requirement. S/he will report to Regional HR Manager and also be involved for the continuous improvement of HR processes/systems in partnership with the APAC and Global Talent Acquisition team.
KEY AREAS OF ACCOUNTABILITY:
General HR Operations/Administration
Accurate and smooth handling of incoming HR related questions
The daily administrative processing of a wide variety of data changes in our HR core system.
Drawing up (contractual) documentation related to employment contracts and labor conditions (e.g., employment contracts, confirmations of job appointments, application of individual terms of employment)
Support the Finance team in preparing payroll process
Execution and support in our annual cycle and/or one-off HR processes for the countries we serve
Contributing to the quality of our service delivery and enhancing employee experience by identifying improvements in our (automated) work processes and knowledge articles
Handle local social security, healthcare, and other relevant registration and compliance
Support Employee Relations procedures and liaise with Department of Labor
Issuing letters of HR related matters
Support in the administration of sub-consultant agreement
Facilitate contract extension for fixed term employees and independent consultants
Support HRM to implement global initiatives locally
Assist in the establishment and management of learning and development programs for the team
Support the implementation of company policies and procedures and update in line with changes in relevant laws and best practice
Provide support and guidance required to the management on all HR related matters
Conduct induction for new joiners
Other duties as required to support the company and management
What you bring
Essential
Bachelor's degree in Psychology, HR management, Business Management, or relevant field required
2-5 years experience working in recruitment, management or as an HR generalist, from a reputable national or international organization
Customer satisfaction oriented
First-rate organizational skills with a strong eye for detail and the ability to prioritize effectively whilst working to tight deadlines
Strong understanding of the recruitment lifecycle
Interpersonal skills, demonstrate confidence to communicate appropriately with people of all levels, both internally and externally
Clear understanding and awareness of HR protocol
A flexible and organized approach to handling a varying workload
Adept knowledge in using HR information system
Understands the importance of confidentiality
High initiative and proactive approach
Resilient to work under pressure and heavy workloads
Excellent English verbal and written communication skills
