Description:
Organizational Performance:
» Partner with leadership abilities teams to review and understand business and strategic requirements
» Implement all aspects of employee performance management; to include formal annual process guidance and tracking, education on performance standards, and continuing managerial coaching for performance development and continuous feedback
» Partner with leadership abilities to identify and develop top talent utilizing the talent management process. Develop and implement retention activities and succession strategies to retain high potential high performers
» Analyze data on employee turnover, employee satisfaction surveys, exit interviews and other metrics, and make recommendations to enhance and improve HR programs and services
Employee & Labor Relations:
» Coach and counsel managers and employees on performance-related problems. Resolve issues in order to maintain positive employee relations while at the same time, optimize organizational performance. Track and identify trends in situational discord for possible strategic resolution
» Ensure investigations are conducted in a professional manner, compliant with all significant local, state and federal laws, and that all parties involved are treated with dignity and respect
» Identify and implement training initiatives to provide fundamental human resources knowledge to managers and Managers in support of their functions as leaders
» Manage all labor practices - contract negotiations, grievances, and arbitrations
Human Resources Management:
» Manage hiring policy and procedures and ensure on-going compliance with those guidelines
» supervise the development and revision of job descriptions, ensuring content is comprehensive and accurate
» supervise an effective recruitment strategy for human resource needs via direct or partner recruitment channels
» supervise continual review of the orientation process for new employees to reflect the most current information
» Direct or coordinate investigations and preparations for regulatory audits and surveys
Benefits Administration:
» Ensure regulatory compliance with employee benefits administration
» Coordinate preparation of reporting information required for benefits administration, including any quarterly and annual requirements
» Evaluate and recommend changes to benefits to ensure continued adherence to the adopted compensation philosophy
» Proactively monitor the competitive environment for new benefit offerings and makes recommendations
» supervise communications of benefit programs to employees to ensure a thorough knowledge of the benefits program
Requirements:
» 3-5 years of practice as an HR Manager or Generalist
» capability to present ideas effectively in writing, orally, and in group presentations
» Strong attention to detail and deadlines, good organizational expertise and high level of initiative
» capability to effectively lead/participate in training sessions, presentations, and meetings
» capability to maintain confidentiality and work under highly stressful situations
» Bachelor's degree with Business and/or Human Resources focus preferred
» Labor Relations practice
» PR practice
» HR Administration practice in an organization with multiple business locations
» OD is preferred
