JOB DESCRIPTION:
The position oversees the functions of both the HR and Admin departments. This role is expected to implement policies and procedures intended to improve the quality of services provided to internal clients (the employees) as well as external clients (government agencies such as SSS, Phil-Health, Pag-Ibig, DOLE, etc.). The role is also expected to have frequent interactions with expats from Japan to respond to their needs, and therefore the ability to communicate fluently in Japanese is preferred (though not required). Experience in building effective teams and managing people is a must.
Duties and Responsibilities:
Assist with day to day operations of the HR and Admin functions and duties.
Provide supervision to HR and Admin staff and help implement respective processes by area.
Bridge management and its employees by addressing their human resources issues, rules, and regulations.
Developing and implementing HR and Admin Strategies aligned with overall requirement of the organization.
Formulate and regulate policies and procedures across the organization.
Properly handle complaints and grievance procedures.
Monitor communication with requesting department on candidates and schedule interviews.
Assess training needs to apply and monitor training programs.
Report to management and provide decision support through HR & Admin metrics.
Ensure legal compliance throughout admin and human resource management.
Prepares Job Description for the organization.
Assist in payroll preparation by analyzing disputes and discrepancies.
Communicate with public services when necessary.
Conduct Exit Interviews to outgoing employees.
Develop activities for improvement of training needs and its resources.
Spearhead monthly meetings with HR and admin staff and adhere to suggestions and ideas.
Prepare investigation reports and administrative hearing for affected employees.
Issue memorandum and notices to concerned department and or employee.
Qualifications:
5-8 years experience in general HR
At least 3 years in an HR and Admin Manager role
Must have supported a construction/engineering firm
With experience supporting Japanese companies
Speaking Japanese is a high advantage
