Position Summary:
PVS partners with schools, school districts, and independent charter school Boards across the country and provides various services to support the schools associated with these partnerships. The Compliance Services Operations role is primarily responsible for providing support related to Compliance functions, with a focus on contractual and regulatory monitoring. The Compliance Services Operations Specialist reports to the Manager of Compliance Services.

General Responsibilities:
Create and maintain annual school calendars for administrators, students and staff for each partner school, ensuring all requirements per state and charter guidelines are adhered to
Review and track deadlines and reporting for each partner school
Review insurance contracts and requirements for insurance certificates and ensure required insurance certificates are provided in advance of partner school events and activities; and
Perform other duties as assigned.

Requirements:
College degree, or higher, preferred
1-3 years Human Resources Management Experience
Excellent software skills, especially with Microsoft Office
Excellent verbal and written communication skills
Ability to work effectively both with and without supervision
Exceptionally detail oriented
High degree of flexibility
Job Description:
Processes HR transactions in HRIS and other HR technologies as requested
Responsible for administrative tasks relating to employee records such as managing new hire profiles, disabling terminated employee profiles, processing employee-generated requests for personal information changes, handling employment information changes, compiling employee files for audit purposes & other tasks related to employee records
Responsible for administrative tasks relating to employee benefits such as reviewing and approving employee submission of life events, auditing employee files for required benefits documentation, ensuring vendor invoices match enrollment data & other tasks relating to employee benefits
Responsible for administrative tasks relating to employee compensation such as managing annual statements, bonus statements & other compensation statements
Resolves HR process and policy questions through multiple communication channels
Escalates client service issues to the appropriate party as appropriate
Documents all cases in the case management system
Ensures consistent application of HR policies and state, federal, and/or country laws and practices
Provides input to the Pearson HR Delivery Center knowledgebase and contributes ideas to improve processes or performance
Demonstrate empathy to the colleague's situation and speaks in a manner/tone the colleague can understand and relate with
Supports change programs and initiatives. Develops understanding of HR operations
Performs special projects and related duties, as assigned
Works to meet expected service levels and business performance goals
