Job summary: To manage the smooth and efficient operation of the medical clinic assists the Hotel physician in the care and treatment of Hotel guests and employees.
Administrative/HR
Assists the Hotel Physician in the care or treatment of Hotel guests and employees who are ill or injured.
Administers first aid or emergency treatment to Hotel guests and employees in the absence of the Hotel Physician.
Assists the Hotel Physician in the conduct of the pre-employment medical examination.
Arrange the Annual Physical and Medical examination of employees:
Coordinates with the laboratory personnel regarding the schedule (availability of laboratory personnel and Hotel employees).
Informs and coordinates with HRD for the dissemination of information to concerned employees.
Follow up results of tests.
Makes the corresponding notation on the record of employees with findings on their results.
Requires those employees with findings to report to the medical clinic for treatment and case management; follow up treatment course of these employees.
Prepares report on the fitness of employees to work, which is then submitted to HRD for action.
Quarterly Wellness Program
Performs other nursing duties such as, but not limited to:
Keeping the Medical Clinic clean and in order; disinfection and changing linens.
Receiving calls, scheduling appointments or treatment, consultation or examination of guests, employees and applicants.
Performing clerical functions such as prepare reports, filing records
Assist in HMO process and procedures.
Dressing or changing the dressing of wounds.
As directed, administer specific medications, gives injections
As necessary, visiting bed-ridden guests in the rooms, monitoring those with IVF.
Conducting home visits to employees in their homes
Logs employees' daily consultation (date, time, name, complaint, medication given/treatment done).
Prepare monthly reports on the medical attention extended.
Maintains and updates medical record of employees: charts the Physician's findings and diagnosis, medicines prescribed, referrals to hospitals or specialists and other prescriptions.
Keeps and maintains a ready and adequate supply of medicines and other medical items needed for ordinary and emergency treatment extended to employees and guests.
Makes the necessary requisition of medicines and supplies to replenish stocks.
Keeps record of any medical items borrowed from the Medical Clinic
Conducts weekly check on all Hotel First Aid Cabinets, replenish necessary items required and prepares a report on results.
Records employees' Sick Leave. Monitor habitual sick leave employees and prepares a report.
Assists in the preparation of annual medical/illness reports as required by the DOLE.
Renew yearly Sanitary Permit of the Hotel, Health Certificates and Occupational permits of employees
Do Home visits to regular employees from time to time or as requested by HRD and other departments
Responsible for the renewal of HMO, enrollment of newly regularized employees and its dependent termination of resigned employee and dependent.
Do the Annual, quarterly and monthly billing od HMO.
Do the medical reimbursement of the executive committee
Attends and contributes to all meetings as required.
Is knowledgeable in statutory legislation in employee and industrial relations, understanding and strictly adhering to rules & regulations established in the associate guidebook and the hotel's policies concerning fire, hygiene, and health & safety.
Willingly attends hotel training sessions as scheduled to improve skills and knowledge.
Handles guest and employee inquiries in a courteous and efficient manner, reporting complaints or problems if no immediate solution can be found, whilst feeding back a prompt follow up.
Ensures high standards of personal presentation & grooming.
Other Duties
Responds to requests to undertake any reasonable tasks and secondary duties and to changes as dictated by the hotel, industry, and company.
Exercises responsible management and behavior at all times and positively representing the hotel.
Assists and participates in all human resources activities.
Ensures and practices the utmost protection of the office's confidentiality.
To attend training sessions and meetings as and when required.
To carry out any other reasonable duties and responsibilities as assigned

Qualifications
Registered Nurse
Good problem solving, administrative and interpersonal skills are a must.
Minimum 5 years of work experience as a company nurse in a larger operation/hotel.
