The Honest Farms' Operations Assistant oversees, monitors, and coordinates production team activities. He or she works along the production line performing tasks that helps assemble and deliver fresh produce and value-added goods towards the customer. The Operations Assistant must adhere to the safety guidelines, efficiency requirements, and ensure that products meet high quality standards.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities
Receives goods from the supplier
Assembles goods in the production line
Operates production line equipment
Sorts good and bad stocks
Picks and packs finished goods for shipment
Records all pertinent information
Encodes inventory details and other production related records in ERP (Enterprise Resource Planning)
Prepares production reports
Delivers, accurately and on-time, fresh and other value-added goods to retail stores
Stores raw and packaging materials, fresh produce, and other value-added products in designated location
Reports operational bottlenecks and faulty equipment to the Production Officer or Manager
Carry-out one hundred percent in-line product inspection
Maintains hygienic and organized production line
Performs other functions that may be required by the Operations Officer or Manager in support of the company's objectives.
Bachelor's Degree Holder, preferably in Agriculture, Forestry or other relaed field
Preferably at least one-year work experience in meat slaughter and fabrication, fruits and vegetable processing, or warehouse.
