Job Description
Various jobs and duties as a senior accountant here will include:
Preparation of financial statements for small businsses and self-managed superannuation funds
Job by job , preparing business and personal tax compliance work for the client - taking job up to query stage (and estimated tax position stage), and finalising (once reviewed).
It is also super important for us the client can process self-managed superannuation compliance work (and has a good understanding of australian superannuation law). This really important also.
Preparation of individual tax returns for small businesses and inviduals
Preparation of business activity statements and instalment activity statements.
Various ad hoc bookkeeping tasks for some of our clients (from time to time).
Various admin related assistance (from time to time)
Some knowledge of various bookkeeping software would be preferred as well.
Qualifications
Must have good tax compliance skills preparation of self-managed superannuation tax compliance work - and also, understand the importance of putting together good workings for audit.
Senior level or with at least 5 years related experience in Australian Accounting and taxation is a MUST
Must be willing to learn our systems. Feedback is encouraged.
MYOB AO/AE experience is preferred (being the software we use to run our business practice here in Perth, WA).
Must be friendly, approachable and willing to be part of an easy going team
Must have good experience in small business/personal taxation/SMSF compliance work in Australia.

Experience is very important
Lastly, must be willing to complete other ad-hoc accounting/tax compliance related tasks.
Good English would be preferred as well.

Working hours
Monday to Friday 6am to 3pm Manila time ( Flexible, AU hours)
Willing to use own equipment (At least i3 with 8GB Ram)
With good internet connection speed (At least 15MBPS both upload and download)
