Position Title: Resort Staff
Job Summary:
As a Resort Staff member, you will play a crucial role in providing exceptional guest experiences and maintaining the overall operations of our resort. You will be part of a dynamic team committed to delivering high-quality service, ensuring guest satisfaction, and contributing to the positive reputation of our resort. This role requires a friendly and outgoing personality, excellent communication skills, and a willingness to go above and beyond to exceed guest expectations.
Responsibilities:
1. Guest Services: Welcome and greet guests upon arrival, provide them with necessary information about the resort's amenities, activities, and services. Address guest inquiries, complaints, and concerns promptly and professionally.
2. Front Desk Assistance: Assist with check-in and check-out processes, manage reservations, handle payments, and maintain accurate guest records.
3. Concierge Services: Offer personalized recommendations and assistance to guests regarding local attractions, dining options, and recreational activities to enhance their stay.
4. Housekeeping Support: Collaborate with the housekeeping team to ensure cleanliness and maintenance of guest rooms, public areas, and resort facilities.
5. Recreational Activities: Organize and facilitate resort activities such as games, sports, and entertainment programs to create a fun and engaging atmosphere for guests.
6. Pool Monitoring: Maintain safety and cleanliness in pool ensuring guests are adhering to resort policies.
7. Event Support: Assist in planning and executing special events, conferences, and weddings, ensuring smooth coordination and exceptional service.
8. Sales and Promotion: Promote resort amenities, services, and special offers to guests, encouraging them to participate in various activities and upsell where appropriate.
9. Emergency Response: Be familiar with resort emergency procedures and act quickly and responsibly in case of emergencies or accidents.
10. Environmental Stewardship: Support the resort's sustainability efforts by adhering to eco-friendly practices and encouraging guests to do the same.
11. Teamwork: Work collaboratively with other resort staff members across various departments to maintain a cohesive and efficient work environment.
Requirements:
- High school diploma or equivalent (additional education in hospitality or related fields is a plus).
- Previous experience in customer service, hospitality, or a similar guest-facing role preferred.
- Excellent communication skills and the ability to speak fluently in multiple languages is an advantage.
- Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to handle guest complaints and inquiries professionally.
- Demonstrated enthusiasm and a positive attitude in delivering outstanding guest experiences.
- Physical stamina to stand, walk, and lift light to moderate loads during the course of work.
- Flexibility to work in shifts, including weekends and holidays.
