Job Description
JOB DESCRIPTION:
Support the Legal Services team within CGS functional area in reviewing the End User License Agreement/License terms of various commercial and non-commercial software requested for installation within the company.
Independently conduct compliance and legal risk analysis for non-standard software used in project solutions.
Independently Review, evaluate and recommend whether the company has right to reuse/redistribute software, tools, applications developed, based on related third-party licenses and associated IP rights, and to define the scope and limits of use and reuse of such assets.
Independently review, evaluate and recommend, the rights and restrictions involved in a software license agreement, end user license agreement of non-standard software and analyze the associated risks in using the software on owned devices in accordance with the users intended scope of usage.
Support implementation of new initiatives in License Management area or within Legal Services (in addition to allocated role)
QUALIFICATIONS:
Law-Related Bachelor's Degree
At least 2 years sound knowledge about Contract review skills particularly in Software License Management
Fluent in English with strong oral and written skills;
Demonstrate strong time management and prioritization skills;
Detail-oriented, organized, flexible and focused;
Display high level of responsiveness and follows through on commitments;
Good to Have:
Displays basic legal document drafting skills.
Display positive, collaborative attitude.
Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, PowerPoint and Word skills.
Display competence in building credibility and effective relationships with Stakeholders;
Understand company's interests while communicating with executives at all levels of the organization and external Clients (as applicable)
