Job Descriptions
Understands the philosophy, policies, and the standard operational procedure of the hospital and the Nursing service
Follows procedures pertinent to infection control
Keeps up-to-date on medical and nursing procedures
Keeps the patient's record complete, accurate and secure
Provides patient care in conformity within the standard procedure of the hospital
Informs the Head Nurse of all nursing care problems
Maintains, checks and evaluates the equipment and instruments in the unit
Completes stock and provide a system of replenishment of the supplies in the HD unit
Assess patient before, during and post procedure until the patient is being discharged from the dialysis unit
Ensures to deliver safe, adequate and effective dialysis treatment by monitoring patient every 30 minutes
Manages complications that may arise during treatment. Collaborate with Hemodialysis physician to deliver appropriate medical management efficiently and effectively
Enhances Hemodialysis services to our client through quality services
Reviews the orders and previous treatment records
Prepares all materials needed to perform efficient nursing care
Coordinates with the Dietitian and/or Nutritionist to provide correct and accurate information relating to patients' nutritional needs
Secures complete and accurate documentation regarding patients' treatment
Terminates the treatment properly and accordingly
Discusses the HD unit protocol, house rules and evacuation plan in case of emergency to patients and relatives
Ensures the safety of the patient in the event of natural calamities and disasters
