Candidate must possess at least Bachelor's/College Degree in Nursing or equivalent.
Passed the Nursing Board Licensure
At least 1 Year(s) of working experience in the related field is required for this position.
Certification on IV Therapy
Major Job Functions:
Assess the physical and psychosocial status of patient by means of interview, health history, physical assessment and diagnostic studies.
Recognize deviations from normal in physical assessment. Works in collaboration with a physician in formulating plans for health problems and follow up.
Carry out doctor's orders in conformity with policies and legal limitations.
Administer therapeutic measures and obtains specimen as Prescribed.
Evaluate the quality of care provided and recommends changes for improvement.
Provide symptom management for side effects related to treatment
Identify and assess nursing problems - physical / mental, spiritual.
Assist in the performance of procedures and tests.
Perform direct nursing care.
Create and maintain therapeutic environment by providing privacy and comfort and safety.
Plan; implement delivery of nursing care according to priorities.
Prepare requisition and inventory of medicine and supplies.
Maintain E-Cart supplies of the department.
Prepare purchase requisitions of new equipment and follows up on delivery. Stock and maintain necessary medical and clerical supplies for the clinic. Keep equipment in sterile and working order for physicians.
May provide direction to other clinical personnel to ensure that proper procedures are followed.
Demonstrate various procedures and techniques in order to ensure delivery of proper patient care.
Support and promote excellence in customer relations.
Observe hospital and nursing rules, regulations and policies.
Interpret to patients, family and significant others the policies and regulations that affect them
Participate actively in the in-service education program of the hospital.
Present/assist in nursing case presentation.
