Candidate must possess at least a High School Diploma or College level, any field.
At least 5 years of working experience in the related field specializing in heavy vehicle motor mechanics repair, maintain and test heavy vehicles, other engines and related mechanical components.
Specializing in Maintenance/Repair (Facilities & Machinery) or equivalent
With experience in diesel engine and hydraulics troubleshooting
Ability to follow repair manuals
The physical ability to immediately respond to emergency situation
Applicants must be willing to work in North Harbor, Tondo, Manila
Required to have a non-professional or professional driver's license. Must know how to drive motorcycle, private cars and trucks (license restrictions 1238).
A Plus: Knows Metro Manila whereabouts inside and out
Knowledge of equipment cleaning standards and procedures

Job Responsibilities (MECHANIC):
Diagnose, overhaul, repair, tune, maintain and test diesel, petrol and gas-powered vehicles.
Diagnose equipment problems and determines repairs needed and demonstrates continuous effort to improve operations, decrease turnaround times, and streamline work processes.
May be called upon to operate other equipment or engage in activities as Quicktrans sees fit
Performs daily safety and maintenance checks
Repairs, overhauls, maintains and services fuel injection systems, exhaust systems, cooling systems, air conditioning systems, lubrication systems, engine control systems, major internal engine repairs or overhaul, installation and alignment of engines and machinery
detect mechanical and electrical faults by using instruments that check charging and starting circuitry, batteries, ignition and ignition timing, fuel injection systems and speed control, cylinder compression, engine condition, braking efficiency, and wheel balance and alignment
repair and maintain the hydraulic components of diesel, petrol and gas engines that are used to power attachments such as hoists, booms, scrapers, buckets and augers
Use oxy, ARC, TIG and MIG welding, hand-fitting or machining processes to replace or repair faulty parts.
