Job Overview:
A Healthcare Executive Inbound Billing Specialist must be able to assist with callers concerns regarding a patients medical bill such as balance inquiry, payment processing insurance verification, etc.
Job Duties & Responsibilities:
Must be able to speak with patients and callers with a friendly and welcoming tone.
Must be able to explain the bill, the services, insurance responses, and patient responsibilities.
Must work with the patient in adding their insurance for claims filing, and assisting in claims processing or claims payment.
Updates the accounts and adjusts balances as required by client guidelines and processes.
Work in conjunction with the AR teams, Charges, and Posting Teams, and Account Managers to resolve patient queries and escalations.
Ensures timely follow-up on accounts sent for review or clarification and approval.
Works and assists in different platforms and portals with patients' queries and concerns.
Ensures forms and logs are filled out as required by client guidelines and processes.
Must comply with HIPAA and Infosec compliance.
