Our US partner is a leading Medical Digital Imaging Service Provider in New Jersey, offering a comprehensive range of diagnostic imaging services in comfortable and friendly outpatient centers.
As a Healthcare Billing Specialist, you will handle billing inquiries from patients and doctors, process payments, and perform various tasks.
This is a full-time role, on a US shift and on a Work in the office set-up.

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
Handle inbound and outbound calls with patients, insurance representatives, and relevant offices, including doctors and law firms as necessary.
Update the billing system with essential patient information from various authorized sources.
Utilize existing billing software to process billing, manage accounts receivable, and generate patient invoices when required.
Review and post payments received from insurance companies and patients.
Correct billing errors, including bill/remit codes and charges.
Conduct follow-ups on unpaid or denied claims promptly, working to resolve any issues with payers.
Ensure all billing practices comply with healthcare regulations, including HIPAA and Medicare/Medicaid guidelines.
Maintain accurate records of billing and payment activities, ensuring confidentiality and compliance.
Complete ad hoc tasks as assigned by the direct supervisor or onshore billing manager.
Achieve minimum performance metrics while delivering excellent customer service to patients, doctors, and partner insurance providers.
QUALIFICATIONS:
At Least 1 year of Healthcare BPO Billing experience is required
With background in processing Claims/Claims Rejections, and Appeals
Knowledge of ICD-10, CPT, and HCPCS billing in the US healthcare setting
Familiarity with most healthcare insurance and billing tools like GVT, TRIZETTO, and other necessary tools
