Job Title: Health and Safety Supervisor
Department: Office Management Department
Division/Section: Not Applicable
Reports to: Office Manager
Job Summary:
The Health and Safety Supervisor is responsible for devising and implementing Safety Policies and Contingency Measures of the company such as but not limited to fire safety, typhoon, and other man made or natural disasters.
Job Duties and Responsibilities
1. Supervise the company nurse and safety officers.
2. Set-up and implement safety contingency requirements and logistics.
3. Monitor and ensures that all buildings complies or executes efficiency and safety signage for the safety public within the company.
4. Monitor violations such as but not limited to spillage, fire hazards, and implement appropriate sanctions.
5. Conduct regular inspection to identify potential hazards that may lead to accident.
6. Recommends appropriate courses of action to mitigate any deficiencies found during inspection.
7. Provision of an effective Incident Investigation procedure to accurately determine the cause to provide courses of measures to prevent and/or lessen the repeat of the incident.
8. Conduct Safety Orientation to employees of Tele Empire.
9. Submission of Legal and other requirements pertaining to health and safety.
10. Provide safety precautionary instructions and information for any weather disturbances that may affect lives and company properties.
11. Submission of operational monthly reports and such other reports, as may be required by management from time to time.
12. Other instruction as assigned by supervisor from time to time.
Qualifications
Required minimum level of Education:
A qualified candidate must be a graduate of at least Bachelor's/College Degree, Post Graduate Diploma/Master's Degree in Engineering (Environmental/Health/Safety) or equivalent. Professional license is a must.
Required minimum level of Experience:
Preferably Safety Officer 3 and registered nurse (with at least 3 years of related experience in environmental health and safety compliance).

c. have ability to find answers / solutions
